This 400W power amplifier circuit often called as “safari” amplifier. The below circuit design is for single channel only, build two identical circuit for dual/stereo channels.
The 400W power amplifier designed using two couples of power transistors that are TIP31 with TIP32 and 2N3055 with MJ2955. These types transistor are well known and widely used for the amplifier circuit and high current low voltage DC power supply circuit.
Take a note that you must use aluminium heatsink (and a fan) to prevent over heating on the transistor (2N3055/MJ2955). This circuit require symmetrical/dual polarity power supply. You may use this dual polarity power supply circuit. Use 5A center tapped transformer with voltage output of 25V-0-25V or 32V-0-32V. The capacitor type is electrolytic capacitor, recommended value: 4 x 6800uF/63V (minimum). 10000uF will be better.

Hi friends hope all of you should be fine my English is not very well but let me try to say something about this daigram yes I use it but I modify it with my own mind and I use transistor A1943 x 4 and c5200 x 4 and the first driver transistor tip31 use as darlington and then used power supply DC 45x45 and I use 15 inch 8 ohm by 4 speakers and it was very good and if you want pix of this amplifier which I made it is can send you the pix use my email...

I cannot be 400 Watts. A single pair of complementary transistor 2N3055/MJ2955 is suitable for a power amplifier of 100 Watts rms MAXIMUM. Also, a power rail of +/- 30 Volts is not enough for a 400 W power amp. It is probably 40 W rms power amp.
Theoretically, an output of 30 V Peak (that's what the power supply gives) is about 56 Watts rms in 8 Ohms load. It doubles in 4 Ohms load, however, I don't recommend to use this kind of power amp on a 4 Ohms load. In general, any single pair of power transistor is not enough for a 4 Ohms load.
